Aqua Hut Scuba and Travel

Fantastic experience: A fantastic little dive shop in NWO that has done everything correct in teaching me how to be a safe diver and making it easy to make memories by exploring the open blue. I have made exceptional memories over the last 3 years being a certified diver and going scuba diving than I have doing anything else. An incredible hobby to have where you feel like you belong. Aqua hut is a great place to get started. Would recommend 10/10

Fantastic experience: For any of you that are contemplating scuba, come and talk to Jeff and/or Ian Davis at Aqua Hut. Their years of experience shine through as they take what seems to be a difficult skill to master and break it down into palatable bites for learning consumption. They are both patient and sensitive to the novice and their concerns. As you increase in skills in knowledge their expectations of you increase accordingly; helping you recall the skills previously learned through repetition and challenging you to continue to advance in a safe supervised manner in the Aqua Hut heated swimming pool. My wife, daughter and I became SSI certified open water divers last year and have just successfully returned from a vacation in Florida where we dove all week. The dive instructors and master divers we dove with told us that they were comfortable with our skills and knowledge for our experience level. We had a great time and were able to enjoy the ocean like never before. Thank you Aqua Hut!

Fantastic experience: Walking in we had no idea what to expect. Jeff & Ian were both uber friendly and Jeff sat us down to answer and and all questions we could come up with. He was nothing short of honest & up front about everything from lessons, price of equipment, trips, etc. He encouraged us to a free "try" in the pool and we have never looked back. It really is like family at Aqua Hut. They make you feel so comfortable you question why didn't you learn this sooner! We are looking forward to many trips with Aqua Hut & on our own as well. If you are questioning wether to do this or even where to learn to Scuba Dive, Aqua Hut is hands down THE BEST place to go!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Take aquacycle and aquafit there on Monday and Wednesday. Yoga is on Friday. Great exercise for every age!

Fantastic experience: Went here for an organized mermaid meet with my fellow mer family. The pool is a great size, perfect depth to get a great experience swimming deep and free. The shallow end is a perfect accessible depth to do any pre dive or just relax. The place has lots of great equipment for scuba related activities and training. Highly recommended!

Love the instructors and owners they are all amazing and treat you like family! I go on a trip with these guys every year as often as I can! So many adventures and so affordable!

Positive experience: Really enjoy the trainers, Traci, Niki, and James. The water temperature is sometimes cooler than than I am accustom, but once you start your exercise routine, you don't notice as much. I would recommend Aqua Hut for a different work out experience!

Fantastic experience: To say that Aqua Hut is the absolute best, awesome and over the top of what my expectations were isn't enough. Not going to lie, I wasn't all that comfortable with idea of scuba diving with some previous fears I had prior to "dropping in" out of curiosity one afternoon. Jeff and Ian are nothing short of being very upfront, honest and clearly explaining the pros and cons and what to expect. I was instantly and thoroughly impressed with the level of knowledge, experience (which was obvious) and more so, the professional and courteous feel we got. Now about 5 months in, all my fears I used to have are all gone and I feel so comfortable in the water diving and I have learned such a fun hobby and I am so excited for the trips coming up around the corner. The patience and time that was taken with us to learn appropriately is very appreciated and couldn't have went any better so far. Further more, I have met so many nice fun people from the area and it feels a bit like the "Aqua Hut family" of sorts. I would sincerely recommend checking these guys out of you're considering scuba diving, I'm so glad I did!

Fantastic experience: Awesome place to learn to dive owned and operated by an experienced Father and Son duo. Jeff and Ian are extremely helpful and friendly. They treat you as part of the family and not a customer. They know everyone by name and take a real interest in making sure you come to enjoy diving.
